Preamble:
Whenever there is an outburst of acrimonious and belligerent chat
within the IFF lobby between individuals I would distance myself from the fracas...unless I was deliberately drawn into it. What surprises me is that when chatters proclaim that they are adults,one finds that to be greatly distorted by their behavior towards their comrades! There are those that will stop at nothing short of humiliating, berating and rebuking those whom they hold in contempt!..Sadly, it just does not stop there...the witch hunt by the rattlesnake will continue with unending abuse!
Recently I posted a blog purposefully to challenge two notions :
1)Was there a correlation between the virtual(cyber) and the real world regarding behavioral patters inclusive but not limited to:display of character,honesty,sincerity,truthfulness,trustworthiness,mutual respect towards the fairer sex, ability to reconcile differences amicably etc...
2)Behavior of both sexes regarding solicited or unsolicited innuendos, particularly with a significant age gap between the parties and what was construed as morally acceptable or decried as immoral behavior.
For this exercise I sought the write ups of two recent blogs By Mehak and Cilla, wherein I quoted excerpts that would provide for resourceful and constructive argument. This was done in a proper manner accepted worldwide as non plagiaristic!
To my surprise this blog attracted a wide range of readership (400 hits in 48 hours) and 38 comments inclusive of my response.
The comments ranged from constructive to sublime views and some really advancing the the personal agendas who resorted to pitiful character assassinations to those who professed to be doyens of the ENGLISH LANGUAGE.
Nevertheless,I had to be resilient in dispelling misrepresentation
without compromising freedom of speech!
To this end my blog was was now earmarked as a battlefield where rivalry between Mehak and Cilla took the center stage with accusations and counter accusations flowed like the battle of blood river!!!! (South African History)
Both ladies had a field time..nothing short of slander!
My attempt to calm the rage was futile..despite posting the following message to the waring faction.
Mehak and Cilla..If I may suggest, a BLOG ceasefire may...can...or
will restore dignified decorum between the two of you. Yet again I am vindicated by the display of your online verbal cyber attack on each other, which clearly indicates that in reality your actions would be no different! Gossip mongering within the IFF enclave, initiated devastating disharmony...discontent and disrespect amongst those who were good fellows.
It is time to take stock...stop the wagging tongue and finger...and if you cannot do this amicably,then a facility exists to build a wall between the two of you so that you may regain your tranquility
This was in vain...the scourge continued unabated! I could not let this tirade continue as it was vexatious and demeaning!!
I resorted to posting what was to be an ultimatum:
Painfully I have to take this most unfortunate decision, but a necessary one to stop the tirade and skirmishes between Cilla and Mehak which is perplexing!
Sorry Guys..no further comments from either of you in this blog

Many chatters have faced the unprovoked onslaught (with some exceptions) of Cilla who would rush with a frenzy to seek retribution BY WAY OF BLOGGING the so called perpetrators in the hope of seeking widespread sympathy and support for what in fact could have been resolved amicably at the lowest level.
She would often gloat publicly in the lobby of the scalps she had
garnered!!!
To this end, Cilla has arguably earned the title of the infamous
outcast in the IFF Lobby!
You have made your bed Cilla...NOW SLEEP IN IT 
Cilla ..THE LION DOES NOT HAVE EGO...IT HAS BRUTAL POWER..hence the KING of the JUNGLE

VINDICATED at LAST...The Jury is Out!!!!!

Over the last few days, my passion for knowledge drew me to two interesting blogs,with somewhat diametrically opposing views and concepts.
The blogs posted by Mehak a close friend, titled "Venting" and a the other by Cilla a fellow South African with the heading " ONLINE LIES AND !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GAMES WE PLAY "!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Readers are advised to peruse through these blogs to have a better understanding of my arguments!
In a nutshell,mehak argues against the immorality of chatters viewing age differences as a point of departure,particularly young women and older men. Quoting.
"men over 40 are always trying to entice a 24 year old"
"Every man over 40 should act his age and stop pursuing the poor young girls in here"
" But where do we draw the line?
it bothers me and I want to shake that man over 40 and say " Sicko she could be your kid"
This was my response to her:
Since when is there an age restriction for chatting?
Sure I agree if there is a hint of lust w.r.t sexual innuendo, than it is morally wrong and I would certainly decry this with scorn"
Cillas blog on the other hand embraces the broader concepts of cyber chatting..Quoting:
"Why do 40 something years want younger woman" ?
"Why is that the 40 year geezer wants to chat 20 year olds"?
"At first the 40 year male is in love with her looks and youthful spirit, Oh my, he sure feels young again.Quiet amusing to notice, if you in the lobby, ALL HEADS WILL TURN, shucks he committed a crime chatting a woman half his age. LOVE HAS NO BOUNDARIES. AGE IS A NUMBER".
Quoting RajivprathabIn:

So are there no liars , cheaters ,abusers amongst others in real life???[/I
Quoting Rainstorm]..."as i said in top's blog..its a chance everyone takes...on the net or in real..we really dont know a stranger...at all"!!.. So there are great similarities right!
Amongst other arguments is the fact that there is a travesty of TRUTH and HONESTY in the cyber world with ongoing cheating and lies being the very garments to disguise identity and not least forgetting the masquerades by so many chatters with different handles!!!
HERE THEN IS MY ARGUMENT.: Since my first encounter in IFF, I have always argued that "VIRTUAL" is no different to the "REAL" WORLD where behavioural patterns are concerned! The personalities
of individuals cannot be altered, unless there is a pathological disorder such as schizophrenia, a condition where the state of the individual is characterized by contradictory or conflicting attitudes, behaviour, or qualities or BPMD.
Why then are these two ladies expressing powerful thought provoking arguments about Virtual interaction, if it really did not have a bearing on the the REAL world?
For the self indulgent sceptics..I trust you will not have sleepless nights reagrds the comments made here!
For the indulgent (permissive) moralist, you may be withnessing a transformation through an emotional evolutionary process!!!
AM I VINDICATED???
